This is presiely because Jaydevsab remained assistant to S D Burman sab for
over twenty years/ in fact many hits of sd were composed by Jaydevji. but
as the present culture shows, his modesty never permitted to let the
listners to know about it. As I understand many of the hits of Kala Pani
were composed by Jiidevsahab
