@satraj1961 If you listen to it, you'll find that it is not sung by Asha.
The lyrics are very much by Geetanjali Singh. Have confirmed from Geet Kosh
and other sources also. Movie had only two songs. Both lyricists are also
mentioned in the credits of the movie.

version of Mahal which had lyrics by Nakshab Jarachavi which don't get
credited in the credits.
