baate aisi karti hai tu jaise isko jane
baibal ki vidya ke jitne gun hai inme sare
mere sukh dukh ke sathi hai bajrangi pyare
waise to mai bhi aisa hu fir ye kyu bhagwan hai
kuch na samjhega tere to man me hi shaitan hai

sach much me hai agar kahi to samne aa jaye
apne chhote si chamche ka man ye rakh jaye
aye chamchi kise bola o mai to dost hu hanuman ki
chup ho warna dilwa dungi saja tujhe apmaan ki
aise dhamkati ho jaise koi pahalwan hai
kuch na samjhega tere to man me hi shaitan hai

ramayan maine dekhi usme hiro ram hai
tere bajrangi ka raam sewa hi bas kam hai
thik hi samjha tha maine tu sach me hi nadan hai
arre raam chuka na paye bajrangi ka ahsan hai

kya hua khoyi kahan ab meri ye zubaan hai
lagta hai ab samjha tu kya mere hanumaan hai

What pardon can I beg of this stone-cold form?
You call it God, but it wears a monkey's storm.
Oh, Bajrangbali, this lad, so naive and lost,
Forgive him, I pray, for he knows not the cost.

Where do you journey, turning from my breeze?
Such words you speak, I depart with unease.
Then teach me, if you will, what your Hanuman is?
You’ll understand nothing, your heart’s filled with fizz.

What is it in Hanuman that you revere so?
You speak as if his depths you truly know.
The wisdom of scriptures, all their sacred lore,
My joy and sorrow's comrade, Bajrangi I adore.
I too am like him, yet why is he God above?
You’ll understand nothing, your heart’s devoid of love.

If he truly exists, let him appear before me,
And calm the tremors of this humble devotee.
"You spoon-fed fool, whom do you speak of so?"
"I am Hanuman's friend, that much you should know!"
Silence, or I'll unleash a punishment so grand!
You threaten like a wrestler, a fist in your hand?
You’ll understand nothing, your heart’s filled with sand.

I have seen the Ramayana, where Ram is the hero’s face,
Your Bajrangi's service is its only grace.
Rightly I saw, you are truly a fool,
Ram could not repay Bajrangi’s rule!
What happened? Where now is my tongue to be found?
