Wao..What a Song..superb composition of OP nayyar.Simply Great Singing of 'Rafi...the great singer.each word of song..deliverd by Rafi...are gems..crystal clear Voice...singer of millenium.Singing of Rafi.feels you..somthing Divine..very touchy..so Beautiful Song.most of ...FM channels and media don't play these kind of song.so new Generation...not aware totaly.But Just Listen & then decide...who loves music he has to love this song.AMAZING...**

here I fell connected to all of you as we are all swayed away by Rafi
Sahib's voice. This song/Ghazal is a jewel in Indian Film Music. I like
your comment (Milahi1935) about Rafi sahib being second to just Noor Jaha.
I haven't heard much of NoorJehan being raised up in India, I hope your are
right BUT for me he is second to none & his was indeed voice from heavens.

Asli heera ko pahchanne me aksar log bhool jathehei especially the new
generation. Me toh kahtha hoom for the benefit of the new generation at
least a few such lovely movies in the golden area with such breathtaking
compositions should be again released if not in theatres at least on
TV.Mugal e azam and naya daur were very good attempts for rerelease.

One more thought, Composers like R.D & A.R Rehman are being worshipped so
much by today's generation. However, the Foundation of India Film music has
been laid by like of Naushad, S-J, S.D, Madanmohan, O.P Nayyar & Roshan. So
sad to see people forgetting these legends. A.R Rehman is very ovverrated.
