Great musicians like S.N Tripathi seemed to know how to successfully adapt
classical musical patterns to popular categories. Here the need apparently
was to create a sad duet fit for a rural lad and a rural belle. The way the
drumbeat is used lends the melody the requisite folk texture while
preserving its refined inner quality. A very sweet melody.Thanks, Rajeev.
