Yes I have heard this song longtime ago, which I did like it. As usual
Sharda was singing in her jazz pattern. I think she made this type of
catchy songs which are more suitable for jazz ( also classical jazz) music.
Shanker Jaikishan were very much into jazz music since 1967 onwards. All
such songs were mainly went to Sharda and Ashaji. Very first song of
Sharadaji's song I still like at this moment. She was awarded for Best
newcomers by Filmfare for her song.

i am not a fan of sharada ... she was unique, but somehow never was
melodious and did make many sj songs sound like broken record (hare kaanch
ki chudiya is a great example ). this song's beginning notes remind me of
khyaam's song "ek chaman ke mandvi" .. long live shankar-jaikishan !!!
