Drprabhakar1944, It is not as you say. Trilok Kapoor had started acting way
back in 1930s and was a known name. He was a known name in those times and
was famous. He was a good actor and that is why he got such roles. He has
done many movies on the basis of his acting. He had a good physique to go
with it too (you may notice he was very fit as compared to other actors as
he worked hard on it). His pairing with Nirupa Roy was a super hit
combination particularly after Har Har Mahadev(1950) which unfortunately
led to them getting stereotyped as the "Godly pair" which limited roles
later.

Very good song with beautiful Nargis with much less known Trilok Kapoor brother of Prithiviraj kapoor.He also acted in Mirza saheban and few more films in forties. He did not become much famous. His films became hits like this probably due to other actors and heroinnes and good Music. Same was the case with Mirza Saheban with Madam Noor Jehan and GM Durrani as play back singer. Trilok Kapoor then faded away soon. A good post
