And the white men departed, back to their land.

Hail to India! Hail Gandhi's name!
January's thirtieth, a tragic, bloody flame.
A bullet's path, piercing the heart's core,
Yet "Ram" escaped the lips, forevermore.
"Vaishnava Jan To," a sacred plea,
To those who feel another's misery.
