Majrooh S was the most prolific lyricist of Bollywood. In a career spanning
more than half a century, he wrote hundreds of songs of every conceivable
mood and situation, but never used substandard language for cheap
publicity. This one is among his best creations. Chitragupta’s composition
is excellent and Mohd. Rafi’s rendition is out of this world. Such
beautiful songs helped Dharmendra establish himself as a leading actor. His
acting in songs was always good, as it is in this one. An audio-visual
masterpiece!

Sahir Ludhianvi is the real creator and best at this song. Other than
Chitragupta ,Ravi has also composed superb songs for genius singer Mohd
Rafi that may be "Chouhvi ka chand ho.." , "Chhoo lene do najuk..", "Sou
bar Janam lenge..." etc. However here in this song Sahir touch will always
be remembered.

must remember the creators too, Majrooh Sahib and Great Chitargupt
ji.Imagine Mohd. Rafi without these magical melodies and what could he had
sung with modern days writers and " CHOR COMPOSERS" , hats off the entire
team
