I have watched this magic elsewhere too but this is one song which never leaves me with even a slight repetition fatigue. The sound of belled anklets and VjM's rythmic body work create a rare and indelible impression on one's memory. This clip also reminds us about Naushad-Lata joint ventures which always resulted in the finest compositions ever. And credit to Yuan for uploading this lovely gem. Thx.

The beauty of this folk-style song is that its lyrics are in the Bhojpuri
dialect of Eastern U.P., but it is embedded in the classical tradition . A
masterful composition by Naushad, and of course peerless rendition by
Lataji as usual. As for Vijji, her eyes themselves are a pair of classical
dancers, never mind the rest of her exquisite moves as always. Thanks,
Yuan.

It is been some time ago I haven't commented any comments to your up loads, today I am mentally prepared and enjoying one by one on YT. Gunga Jumna was a fabulous movie, inspirational songs and marvellous composition of Legend Naushad Sahib. Dear Yuan I am enjoying both audio and video. The quality is excellent. Full marks. (28th June 2011)
