is first chance Lata received to sing under the baton of prominent
composer. . Masterji was very impressed with her voice and talent. He taken
her various producers including S. Mukerji of Filmistan. Mukerji straight
away rejected her and said that this thin voice is not suitable for
heroine. Then master prophiesely predicated that time will come u bow to
her feet to sing for your film. Later is the history.
