Musical Magic of R.D.Burman! There is very sensitive use of the flute and
the saxophone ( not to mention the guitar, the Mandolin, the keyboards
doing their subtle role in the background). Lyrics is by Khurshid Hallauri
and the Film: Parinda is by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It seems to my humble
imagination that the song is 'flute-based' . Thanks for the fabulous post!

Its not the saxophone. Its a different instrument called the Flugel Horn. I
know it for a fact because I heard the original member of his band playing
this. The torn of this horn instrument lends the sadness to the song.
