such a nice voice ,and condi. in which she died was heartbreaking for the
music lovers and hatered for the selfish film ind. who have self int. only.
in taking the adv and squizzed out the other. why ind. cannot find out the
artist of any caliber who taken devoted their life in whatever way to
uplift the film ind. r in dire condi. and help them . i hate the so called
khan and kumar and what not. for the careless atti. towrds deprived artists.

director Naushad spotted her singing in the chorus for his background score
for Pakeezah (1972). Naushad was much taken aback by this, having greatly
respe and heartbroken to hear that she was reduced to singing in the
chorus. He gave her an entire song to herself in Pakeezah, Najariya ki
Mari. Her last film song was recorded for R. D. Burman in the film Kitaab,
Har Din Jo Beeta. She died in poverty in early 2000
