जिस्मानी तौर पर पर तो , मेहंदी हसन साब हम सभी से रुखसत हो गए पर उनका फन और
शख्सीयत हमारे दिलों पर तकयामत हुकूमत करेगी ...शायद हम जैसे अपने चाहने
वालों क़ेलिए ही उन्हों ने यह ग़ज़ल गयी थी ..."रंजिश ही सही ." यूँ
मौत तो अल्लाह ताला की मर्ज़ी से होंती है पर मेहँदी हसन साहब जैसे गुलूकारी
क़े बेताज बादशाह को अलबिदा कहना बहुत बेअसर लहता है किउकी , वेह हमारे जेहन
मे अपने वजूद रखते है

god, his golden voice is here for us to share as long as we live.Are we not
fortunate that we had a chance to see and listen to such maestros like
Mehdi Hassan sahab and Jagjit sigh sahab and Mohammd Rafi saheb.

each sentence ending in a raaga. what a composition and what a voice.
brilliance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the way it is sung, he deceives us making
us believe it is very easy. but we have seen many so called greats singing
this and falling flat :-)
