Dear John, There are of course two versions of this song in the original
soundtrack of the movie, however, this is the slow sad one. The other one
is the party version of the same song sung by another artist. You might
have heard a cover version sung by some other artist. Take Care Azmat

Thanks a lot lot. Ihave been trying to search this song for last thrtee
years but couldnt get that on youtube. It was shocking and surprising for
me. Today I typed again as usual and was pleasantly surprised to see this

Mere Dil is from the movie Meetha Zeher. Kanchan is the original singer and
u can find it by just searching on youtube.Hope this helps.
