Lyrics of Suno Seeta Ki Kahani Ke Wo Mahlo Ki Rani - सूनों सीता की कहानी की वो महलों की रानी
bol gayi dharti ki kaya kaanp gayo aakal
bina dosh ke sita ko jab ram diyo vanvas
suno sita ki kahani ki wo mahlo ki rani
chhod ghar bar gayi vanvas kisi ne kadar na jani
suno sita ki kahani ki wo mahlo ki rani
chhod ghar bar gayi vanvas kisi ne kadar na jani
dagar dagar bhatke vanvas pag pag thokar khaye
bhukhi pyasi phire ho van me man me pir chhupaye
pad gaye chhlae pavo me do nayan kamal murjhaye
ramsiya ram jai jai ramsiya ram
ramsiya ram jai jai ramsiya ram ramsiya ram jai jai ramsiya ram
pad gaye chhlae pavo me do nayan kamal murjhaye
nayan kamal murjhaye
kaise sune ye katha koi kaise koi sunaye
ram siyaram siyaram ram siyaram siyaram
kaise sune ye katha koi kaise koi sunaye
chhalak pade nayan ki gagri
cham cham barse pani re cham cham barse pani
suno sita ki kahani ki wo mahlo ki rani
chhod ghar bar gayi vanvas kisi ne kadar na jani
dekho duniya walo sita sati ki prit mahan
sati sita ki prit mahan
jisne diya vanvas usike hi karti gungan usike hi karti gungan
kahe parbhu se kuch mangu to mangu ye vardan
ramsiya ram jai jai ramsiya ram
ramsiya ram jai jai ramsiya ram
kahe parbhu se kuch mangu to
mangu ye vardan mangu ye vardan
apne pati ke charno me hi nikle mere paran
ram siyaram siyaram ram siyaram siyaram
apne pati ke charno me hi nikle mere paran
ram siyaram siyaram ram siyaram siyaram

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Suno Seeta Ki Kahani Ke Wo Mahlo Ki Rani - सूनों सीता की कहानी की वो महलों की रानी
The earth exhaled, a tremor shook the age,
When Rama banished Sita, free of cage
Of fault, a royal soul, exiled to green.
Hear now the tale, a queen of what has been,
Of palaces, abandoned, left behind,
No love remained, none of her worth to find.
Hear now the tale, a queen of what has been,
Of palaces, abandoned, left behind,
No love remained, none of her worth to find.
Through paths of exile, wandered, lost, and weak,
Each step a stumble, solace she did seek.
Hunger and thirst, within the forest deep,
A hidden sorrow, secrets she would keep.
Blisters bloomed upon her weary feet,
Her lotus eyes, their gentle petals meet
In fading bloom...
Ram Siya Ram, Jai Jai Ram Siya Ram,
Ram Siya Ram, Jai Jai Ram Siya Ram, Ram Siya...
Ram Jai Jai Ram Siya Ram.
Blisters bloomed upon her weary feet,
Her lotus eyes, their gentle petals meet
In fading bloom...
Who can hear this story, who can share
This grief, this burden, this despair?
Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram, Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram...
Who can hear this story, who can share
This grief, this burden, this despair?
The pitcher of her eyes overflows,
Tears like rain in rhythmic flow.
Hear now the tale, a queen of what has been,
Of palaces, abandoned, left behind,
No love remained, none of her worth to find.
Behold, O world, Sati Sita's love, so grand,
Sati Sita's love, so grand,
She, who was banished, still sings His praise,
Still sings His praise...
To God she prays, if I may seek a boon,
Ram Siya Ram, Jai Jai Ram Siya Ram,
Ram Siya Ram, Jai Jai Ram Siya Ram...
To God she prays, if I may seek,
This one blessing, this wish I speak,
This one blessing...
That in my husband's feet, my life departs,
Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram, Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram...
That in my husband's feet, my life departs,
Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram, Ram Siya Ram, Siya Ram...
That in my husband's feet, my life departs.

A classic story from Sarat Chandra Chatterjee novel. Bimol Roy asked Kamin
Kaushal to read this story 20 times...before she was choosen to play the
lead role and she did. A heart warming story. Great composition by Salil...

Moh'd Rafi is always remarkable in bringing out the affecting quality of
devotional recitations . The appalling treatment of innocent Sita,
resonates movingly in the character played by Kamini Kaushal. Very
instructive episode for all humanity: If even the gods are fallible, do not
worship anyone or any scripture blindly; always exercise your critical
faculty. Retain what is admirable and reject what is execrable.
Thanks,Dharmesh.
