Tera Jalwa Jisne Dekha, Woh Tera Ho Gaya - तेरा जलवा जिसने देखा वो तेरा हो गया
Lyrics of Tera Jalwa Jisne Dekha, Woh Tera Ho Gaya - तेरा जलवा जिसने देखा वो तेरा हो गया
tera jalwa jisne dekha wo tera ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koyi mera ho gaya
tera jalwa jisne dekha wo tera ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koi mera ho gaya
kya dekha tha tujhme, dil tera ho gaya
ye sochte hi sochte savera ho gaya
kya dekha tha tujhme, dil tera ho gaya
ye sochte hi sochte savera ho gaya

hai mujhme bhi aisa anokha sa jadu
jo dekhe wo hota hai dil se bekabu
lage tose naina, to naina na lage
khayalo me dubi hu tere o babu
tu aaya to mahfil me ujala ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koyi mera ho gaya
tera jalwa jisne dekha wo tera ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koi mera ho gaya

teri ek jhalak ne wo halat bana di
mere tan-badan me mohabbat jaga di
kabhi bhul kar to idhar bah de pani
kinare pe rahti hu phir bhi mai pyasi
ab dil ka kyo kare gum gaya so gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koyi mera ho gaya
tera jalwa jisne dekha wo tera ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koi mera ho gaya

bulati hai tujhko ye aanchal ki chhaiya
jara muskura de, padu tore paiyya
kasam hai tujhe dil ki jan-e-tamanna
tujhe hamne mana hai apna hi saiyya
mai akeli aur tera jamana ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koyi mera ho gaya
tera jalwa jisne dekha, wo tera ho gaya
mai ho gayi kisi ki, koi mera ho gaya
kya dekha tha tujhme, dil tera ho gaya
ye sochte hi sochte savera ho gaya
lyrics of song Tera Jalwa Jisne Dekha, Woh Tera Ho Gaya
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Tera Jalwa Jisne Dekha, Woh Tera Ho Gaya - तेरा जलवा जिसने देखा वो तेरा हो गया
The one who glimpsed your light, surrendered to you,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
The one who glimpsed your light, surrendered to you,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
What did I see in you, that my heart did then melt?
Lost in thought of you, the dawn was gently felt.
What did I see in you, that my heart did then melt?
Lost in thought of you, the dawn was gently felt.

In you, a magic, unique and untold,
That steals the heart of those who behold.
When eyes meet yours, then eyes cannot cease,
Lost in your thoughts, my love, my story unfolds.
When you arrived, the gathering turned bright,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
The one who glimpsed your light, surrendered to you,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.

A single glance, a state it did weave,
Awakening love in my body to believe.
Forget and just let the waters flow this way,
Though on the shore, my thirst does still grieve.
Why lament the heart, its sorrow now gone,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
The one who glimpsed your light, surrendered to you,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.

This shade of my veil, it beckons you near,
Smile just a little, I'll fall at your feet, my dear.
By the heart's oath, my love, my only desire,
I've held you, my love, my very own seer.
I am alone, yet your world's now my own,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
The one who glimpsed your light, surrendered to you,
I became another's, another claimed me anew.
What did I see in you, that my heart did then melt?
Lost in thought of you, the dawn was gently felt.

Everyone seems to have commented on Shankar Jaikishan's superb music. I
concur with them. However, I would like to comment on Kumkum. She was quite
a good actress. And what a beautiful twinkle toed dancer too. Especially
her Kathak dances. In 'Ujala' she nearly stole the thunder from Shammi
Kapoor, Mala Sinha and Raaj Kumar with her spontaneous acting. Who can
forget she dancing to Dilip Kumar's "Madhuban me Radhika naache re..." in
'Kohinoor' and that naughty "Jaja reja.."in 'Basant Bahar'.

@anoopsEars BESIDES, that even if they ever seemed to go too commercial,
they never did snap their touch and ties with their ORIGINAL talent in that
process. THAT is the DIFF between them and the MOERN not music directors
but NOISE MAKERS with sythesizer and electronic gadgets in place of REAL
orchestra made of true musical instruments.

Shankar Jaikisan and other Music Directors of that era had some kind of
miracle in their creation tht even after decades of creation they are still
ever fresh and ever green never becoming stale
