Lyrics of Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi - मेरा तुझ से है पहले का नाता कोई

tera mujhase hai pehle kaa nata koi

dhuan dhuan tha wo sama
yhan whan jane khan
tu or mai khin mile the phle

tera mujhase hai pehle kaa nata koi
yu hee nahee dil lubhata koi
tera mujhase hai pehle kaa nata koi
yu hee nahee dil lubhata koi

dekho abhee khona nahee, kabhee juda hona nahee
abb khel me yu hee rahenge ham dono

yu hee nahee dil lubhata koi
lyrics of song Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi - मेरा तुझ से है पहले का नाता कोई
A bond of ages, woven deep within,
No casual heart could ever so begin
To captivate, to stir this yearning deep.
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.
A world of smoke, a haze of what-was-there,
Where and when? Lost in ethereal air.
You and I, a meeting long ago,
Then seeing you, the heart began to know…
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.

Look now, let parting be a distant shore,
No separation evermore.
In this sweet game, forever we shall stay,
A promise whispered at the close of day.
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.
A bond of ages, woven in the deep,
No casual heart could ever so begin
To captivate, to stir this yearning within.
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.
Look now, no parting, never to depart,
Forever bound, two eyes that share a heart.
In this sweet game, a vow this evening keeps,
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.

Vows have passed, and whispered words have flown,
Awakened nights have come and have withdrawn.
Though what was sought was not our final prize,
We hold no grievance, as the spirit flies.
Our fates, what matter if we live or die?
But life has blossomed, now for you to try.
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.
A bond of ages, woven in the deep,
No casual heart could ever so begin
To captivate, to stir this yearning within.
Know this, or not; believe, or softly weep.

The thing is, plagiarism is rife within Bollywood music scene - going back
to the 1940's. I think its fine - but have the courtesy to give credit to
the original composer - and pay the royalties necessary - it's not much to
pay actually. This gives recognition to the original composer which is more
important than the money in a lot of cases. Finally we have to ask why the
need to copy? RD, ShankerJaikshan, Lax.Pyrelal, Kal.Anandji etc are all
talented enough without resorting to copying.

Ha!Ha! You're right - I don't speak Hindi or Urdu...but I do SING in Hindi.
Also, as a composer I understand fully that it's no different to someone
pinching, say, your prize rose and entering it in a competition and winning
a prize with it. Or making a film of your idea and making money out of it.
Would you think that acceptable? I'm sure you'd not worry about the
benefits to mankind if it was YOUR idea that was pinched. Wrong is wrong
whichever way you look at it.

This song DOES NOT sound exactly like Yellow Rose of Texas, the U.S Folk
song , popularized by ELVIS. There are similarities, but there also
important differences. And Please, don't call RDBurman "thief". A little
copying is VERY different from stealing. Good DJs also mix copied music.
That's also a skill. RDB gave us happiness with the song, appreciate that
and don't be unhappy just because he copied some parts. Remember, Elvis
also copied this folk song.
