One of great songs sung by Manhar Udhas written by Nida Fazli and music
composed by Usha Khanna. I want to tell one thing about great Rafi Sahab.
Rafi Sahab sung a song with Amithabh Bachchan Sahab in Movie Nasib. Rafi
Sahab came home and told his son that he had sung a song with Superstar
Amitabh Bachchan. This was the great simplicity of Rafi Sahab. My friends,
great is not that person who prouds himself, that person is great who makes
people proud of him. Rafi Sahab is a God figure for us.

I agree with you on that. I don't want to criticize either artist, but the
fact Rafi's version is set in party kind of takes away from the depth of
the song. The instruments and the dance etc are much more in the foreground
than in Manhar's version. I like Manhar's version better, but who knows how
it would've worked out had they sung each other's version. Maybe they did
try it and it didn't work.

@23pair Ranjeeta kaur was indeed a pretty actress .Now everything is
commercialized in Bollywood. Nobody is serious for their work. When i
watched "Veerzara" i was very much touched by the brilliant performance of
the actors. And it was a hit movie. If movie makers want they can mould the
taste of the public. But who cares now? Fortunately we have old movies to
enjoy and learn.
