Nice melodious duet of Talat Ji and Asha Ji. Thanks for sharing, great job.
Unfortunately I believe in her later years, in a reality show, Asha Ji had
recalled some famous Geeta Ji songs from Jaan Pehchan (1950), saying
"usmein Mehmood karke koi gayak tha", conveniently forgetting the dueting
help he gave her in her early years.

sorry but talat mehmood's is shaky. t was panic station by 1961 for him
with very little work. Ashaji was very very big in 1961. in fact she had
been the busiest playback in India since 1957. this position was hers till
the almost the end of the 80s decade. read the 'GEET KOSH'. talat sahab
could not satisfy music directors. SAD
