gulami me hai meri tu bhi aur hai baap bhi tera
suna sabbir ne lafze gulami aa gaya gulsa
kaha jakar pisarne hot adaruk iska ae baba
gulam apna mujhe aur aapko sarbar ne farmaya
ye sunte hi umar bole mukaddar ab mera chamka
khuda ke ladle hai wo nawase mustfake hai

hai malik khud ke wo aur bete multaza ke hai
kaha fir ye umar ne bete se tasidar kaise ho
agar likhwa ke le aao to main samjhu ke sacche ho
kaha ebbne umar ne aaka joshibbar bante ho
gulam apna hame likh do juban se tum jo kahte ho
kaha sabbir ne ham se sanag to sab hi lete hain
gulam ebbne gulam apna tumhe ham likh ke dete hain
diya hazrat umar ko bete ne sabbir ka likha
lagakar aankho se hazrat umar ne usko fir chuma
batau kya masallat ka umar ki main jo aalam tha
sanad pakar gulami ki umar ne fir farmaya

sare mehsar khuda ke samne jis waqt jaunga
gulami ki sanad me aale ahmad ko dikhaunga
azabe kbar kya hai fir zameen bhi us se tharaye
gulame aale ahmad ka sarf duniya me jo paaye
na kyun fulde bari uske liye nirash ho jaaye
use khatka ho kyun mehsar ka kyon dojakh se ghabraye
na kyun danka baje duniya me uski nek naami ka
sarf jisko mile aale mohammad ki gulami ka
waseehat apne bete ko ye ki faaruque aazam ne
kafan me sath rakh dena gulami ki sanad mere
rahe tahasar mujhko fakar is dar ki gulami se
ki jinke sadke me sare musalmaan bakshe jayenge
basar yun naaz haasil tha umar faaruqe aazam to
mili hai aale ahmad se gulami ki sanad hamko

When Umar, the Just, ruled the world,
A love for humanity unfurled.
Each soul held kinship, a boundless embrace,
Kindred spirits met in every place.
From caliph to child, a bond so deep,
Love for God and the Prophet, secrets to keep.
In the heart of the Prophet's beloved, Umar's soul did reside.

Children played, their laughter a tide,
Then a quarrel arose, words like a storm,
From young Shabbir, a defiant form.
"You, son of Umar, why this harsh decree?
My brother Hassan, kin to me.
In servitude you stand, and so does your sire."
These words, a shock, set hearts afire.
"Oh Father, what is this word, this 'slave'?"
Asked Shabbir, his spirit brave.
"We are slaves, both you and I,"
The Prophet declared, beneath the sky.
Umar's face then lit with a radiant gleam,
"My fate is bright, it would seem!
Beloved of God, the Prophet's own kin,
Masters of themselves, where do I begin?
Son, tell me, how can this truly be?"
"If you bring the proof, then I shall see."
Said Ibn Umar, "Oh Shabbir, I beseech,
Write us slaves, as you often preach."
Shabbir, ever true, fulfilled the request,
"A slave of a slave, we pen with zest."
Umar's son then gave the note so grand,
To his father, who kissed it with a gentle hand.

To tell of the joy, the fervor, the grace,
When Umar held servitude's embrace.
"At the Day of Reckoning, before the Divine,
I shall present this, a sign of mine.
The torment of the grave, how it will cease,
For one who bears the Ahl al-Bayt's peace.
Why should he fear, or feel despair,
For one who lives within their care?
Why not honor their blessed name?
For servitude to them, a burning flame.
This testament, to my son, I now impart,
Place this note of service close to my heart.
Pride I take in this humble decree,
By whose grace, all Muslims shall be free.
Such was the love, the glorious pride,
In Umar's heart, where truths abide.
From the Ahl al-Bayt, this servitude I won."
