He praises all, does good with every deed,
And never speaks a harsh or hurtful word.
Whose thoughts, whose actions, and whose hearts are freed,
Blessed are they, whose songs are always heard.
The Vaishnava, understand him thus:
He feels the ache of others, knows their plight.

He casts off greed, sees all as one and free,
And sees all women as his mother's grace.
His tongue is cut, but never lies, you see,
And wealth he views as dust in time and space.
The Vaishnava, understand him thus:
He feels the ache of others, knows their plight.

He rises far above illusion's sway,
With detachment burning in his soul's deep core.
Lost in the name of God, come what may,
A pilgrimage within, forevermore.

Free from all greed, untouched by guile's sharp sting,
No anger, lust to cloud his peaceful days.
Longing for God, a glimpse, a moment's wing,
And in that blink, release in countless ways.
The Vaishnava, understand him thus:
