Are you sure that's a high B? The second staccato sequence goes roughly: C6-G#5-Eb5-C5-Eb5-F5-G#5-Bb5-C6-G#5 So it should be a high C. :) But what's incredible is that Lata doesn't sound close to the end of her vocal spectrum.
Asha tried something similar in 'tu mi piaci, cara' in 'Bewaqoof' before Lata did. She attempted to hit a C#6 but couldn't, so the instrument had to fill in. She did sing a couple of high B's and Bb's, though, and managed to hit a C6 with some difficulty.
