It is indeed creditable that N Dutta created such a divine melody, so
beautifully sung by Hemant Kumar, in his debut film itself. And what a pity
that no VCD/DVD has this song, though it was there in the VHS I had once,
but which had become useless, and thus thrown away. It shall be an
exceptional gift if someone can lay hands on that song, as it was well
picturised on Dev Anand. Another Hemant Kumar unusual ommission from
VCD/DVD is his 'Inspector' song 'Dil chhed koi aisa nagma' !

In 1958, Manohari Singh joined S D Burman team as a saxophonist for the
movie Sitaron se aage. He went on to play with many other music directors,
his strongest association being with R.D. Burman, for whom he played the
saxophone in many compositions. In addition to playing the alto saxophone,
Manohari Singh was also the music assistant and arranger for R. D.

give beautiful songs further..dev is dev..geeta with the look of girl
next-door was a natural actress known for her free-acting abilities..

Dutta Naik was another MD as in Datta Ram Naik. N. Dutta was Narayan Dutta from Maharestra state. He used to assist S.D. Burman. He went on his on in 1955 and remained very popular throughout 50's and somewhat in 60's.
