Padmini is my favorite actress. She is very beautiful and a versatile actor
who can play all kind of roles. I love this song and never get tired
watching this. It's a classic movie and every actor has done excellent work
specially padmini and not to forget Raj kapoor and all those people behind

This song does not even remotely sound like the song from parwana. The line
where Lata sings "meri doli uthegi phoolon wali" is just amazing. such
feeling such emotion, Its no wonder this woman ruled the hindi music
industry for so long.. an ever green classic.

Of course, Laxmikant was trying to make headlines by saying so. Later however, he and many other music directors didn't mind stealing Madan's tunes and claim them as their own compositions such as this one copied from "Jis Din Se Main Tumko Dekha Hai" from film Parwana 1971.
