Yeh Bebasi Yeh Mera Halezar Dekh To Le, Khada Hu Der Se Ummidawar
Lyrics of Yeh Bebasi Yeh Mera Halezar Dekh To Le, Khada Hu Der Se Ummidawar
yeh bebasi yeh mera halezar dekh toh le
khada hu der se ummidawar dekh toh le
khada hu der se ummidawar dekh toh le

Fiza ne lut liya,Fiza ne lut liya
dil kI aarzu kaa chaman
khaa hai ye meri khoyi bahar dekh toh le
khaa hai ye meri khoyi bahar dekh toh le
khada hu der se ummidawar dekh toh le

basi rahe tere mahalo ki chardeewari
naa aa sake toh naa aa, ek bar dekh toh le
naa aa sake toh naa aa, ek bar dekh toh le
khada hu der se ummidawar dekh toh le

nya sahar karib hai aur shama bujhanewali hai
tadap rha tera bekarar dekh toh le
tadap rha tera bekarar dekh toh le
khada hu der se ummidawar dekh toh le
lyrics of song Yeh Bebasi Yeh Mera Halezar Dekh To Le, Khada Hu Der Se Ummidawar
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Yeh Bebasi Yeh Mera Halezar Dekh To Le, Khada Hu Der Se Ummidawar
Behold this helplessness, this state of mine,
Awaits your gaze, a hopeful paradigm.
I stand so long, a supplicant in time,
Awaits your gaze, a hopeful paradigm.

The breeze has plundered, stolen all away,
The garden of my heart's desire, astray.
Where is the spring, the bloom of yesterday?
Where is the spring, the bloom of yesterday?
Awaits your gaze, a hopeful paradigm.

May walls of luxury forever gleam,
If you won't come, then let me glimpse your dream.
If you won't come, then let me glimpse your dream.
Awaits your gaze, a hopeful paradigm.

A new city nears, the embers start to fade,
A heart in torment, desperately betrayed.
A heart in torment, desperately betrayed.
Awaits your gaze, a hopeful paradigm.

The most moving ghazal voices in old Bombay cinema belonged to K.L.Sehgal,
C.H. Atma, and Talat Mehmood. If I didn't know the other two, I would have
said TM was the only such great ghazal singer. That's what his touching
voice does to me; it sways me so much with its sweetness that I have to
remind myself that there are others in his league. Thanks, Ajitji.

I agree with the learned viewers- it is a rich poetry by Sahir Ludhianvi,
set to fine musical score by Shyam Sunder and divine rendition by Talat
Mahmood, makes it one of the finest song in Hindi movie field. Thanks to
initiatives and endeavours of my friend.

Doesn't that TM voice draw a a tear from your eyes in sympathy for the
anguish and pleading of Vijay Kumar, particularly when you also see the
silent empathy and pain on the face of baby-faced Nimmi? A truly moving
clip this is.

Only Talat Mahmood can be as emotional. Well done Talat and Shyam Sunder
Sahib.
