Yeh Kya Hua Kya Hua -
Lyrics of Yeh Kya Hua Kya Hua -
ye kya hua kya hua, ye kya hua kya hua
hatho ne galo ko chhua uff, hotho ne hotho ko chhua uff
hatho ne galo ko chhua, hotho ne hotho ko chhua
sharmaye mera jiya, acha hua jo hua, acha hua jo hua

tujhko pata kya meri khata kya teri soyi prit jaga di
man man muskau sochu to mai ghabrau
man man muskau sochu to mai ghabrau
dhadka diya dil mera, acha hua jo hua

hoth ki lali kisne chura li pucho to mehar apna begana
sapne chup kar humne khul kar vahi kiya jo kare jamana
ye kaisa thadapa diya, ye kya hua kya hua
hatho ne galo ko chhua uff, hotho ne hotho ko chhua uff
sharmaye mera jiya, acha hua jo hua, acha hua jo hua

lyrics of song Yeh Kya Hua Kya Hua
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Yeh Kya Hua Kya Hua -
What has become, what has become, what has become, what has become?
Hands brushed the cheeks, oh, lips met lips, oh.
Hands brushed the cheeks, lips met lips, oh.
My heart shyly bloomed, good it was, what happened, good it was, what happened.
Eyes kissed eyes, breaths embraced breaths.
Eyes kissed eyes, breaths embraced breaths.
Souls touched souls, what has become, what has become?

My life, my love, on this form you sealed love's mark.
Do you know not, my fault, that you awoke my sleeping love?
My mind smiles, yet to think, I tremble.
My mind smiles, yet to think, I tremble.
You quickened my heart, good it was, what happened.
Eyes kissed eyes, breaths embraced breaths.
Souls touched souls, what has become, what has become?

Whose stolen the crimson from my lips? Ask, friend or stranger?
Dreams hidden, we openly did what the world does.
From the mirror, the memory, I cannot forget.
From the mirror, the memory, I cannot forget.
This torment, how it burns, what has become, what has become?
Hands brushed the cheeks, oh, lips met lips, oh.
My heart shyly bloomed, good it was, what happened, good it was, what happened.
Eyes kissed eyes, breaths embraced breaths.
Souls touched souls.

They were o.k. but not my favorites. In Banjaaran she was dressed like a gypsy. I think the cutest gypsy girls of Indian Cinema are Reena Roy and Neetu Singh, they really have the gypsy look & aura. With Sri, I like her in her princess element like her item numbers in Tohfa, Sultanat, Justice Chaudhury, this number in Naya Kadam, Karma, Jaag Utha Insan, Kalakaar, etc. I like it when she is all decorated & does the temple dances. It suits her. I also liked how she looked in Khuda Gawah as Benazir.

Yeah, I have the movie in fact. It was the first Sridevi movie I ever saw. I don't like seeing Hema in "mother" roles. I guess I'm not used to her having those kinds of super serious and older lady roles. Yes, she and Jeetendra were the same age. Sri was very young in the film though. I thought the scene with Sri and Hema in the kitchen was sooooo cute though :) Funny actually. Jeetendra was too old to play her boyfriend in the movie. But, overall, it was still cute.

I wouldn't know if she was popular there. You're right, we moved to the US before she made it big in Bollywood. At the time that I was a kid and living there, the three most 'popular' Hindi actresses there were Hema, Zeenat, and Neetu Singh which happened to be my three favorites at the time (and I still love all three). I started liking Sri in the US after I saw her in Justice Chaudhury.

I thought she was most princessy in her item number from Justice Choudhury. Her outfits were cute and she looked lovely - like the part where she was wearing the pink sari and laying on the big shell, and later on the pearl white outfit which was very princessy looking.

I love this song/clip, it's one of my favorite Sridevi clips of all time. She is dressed up like a princess. Love the whole decorated look, it's her trademark item number look. Thanks for the upload!
