oh come on..susheela.she did not do any justice to a song sung by
MUKESK JI.that breathing noise that she creates it is so
annoying.my father who is hard core mukesh fan.can sing this song
with thali in his hand and will be modest enough to say.I just

Horrible pronunciation. Waste of good composition. Why sing an emotional
song in a language you don't speak? Begum Akhtar once said that it is a
singer's duty to relay the writer's message. This lady ruined the lyrics. I
feel bad for the musicians.

Not that I'm an accomplished critic, but I haven't heard the original
version, so I'll give an unbiased view of this performance. Her voice sent

ye mera deewanapan hai ki this video I watched. She has made the mincemeat
of the lyrics of this song. She should have at least listened to the
original song before trying to sing this heart touching melodious song.
Only the flute and the guitar player have done the job well. Raman should
sing only original songs and not songs of Lime lights like Mukesh.
