Simply the finest honey-- that's what one always gets in Lataji's early
songs. Thanks, Ajitji.

Beautiful! :) SO nice to see the visuals of this song I first heard the
audio of on 13th Jan! As I said there, I absolutely LOVE the lyrics! :)
Very intuitive of the Lyricist! Being a die-hard romantic for life deep
down, I can testify & bet these thoughts expressed in the lyrics are, have
been, or will be felt by countless women at some point in life for that
magical someone! :) SO cute! :) Awesome orchestra! Charming Vintage appeal!
:) Love it. Thanks! :) Best Always. Ritu, USA, 4th Feb' 2010.

@chamogaa i agree with you. By 1954 it was downhill for Lataji but she
continued to get all the winner songs so it did'nt matter -a winner song to
be a hit only needs a singer who can sing-thats all.Its been proven on
numerous occasions.Infact lousy songs from hit films do even better !! But
was Lata divine in the early 50's !!
V. Siddhartha on May 18, 2010
@shahidaly1 For me Lata's youth extends to 1960 when she turned 31. The
songs of Seema, Udan Khatola, Mughal-e-Azam, and a whole lot more come from
that period and the voice is glorious. "Downhill" is not what I would use
for it; though after 1960 one begins to miss the freshness of her earlier
years, her voice found few peers even after that.

Very nice. Have never seen this film.

@chamogaa
I agree that " the downhill" quality came in her voice in late 50's. I think it has to do with her heartbreak from C Ramchandra. I can actually pinpoint the songs before the breakup and after.
