Lata didi's and Usha's voice gel so well in this song, that it is difficult to differentiate who's who. Excellent!!!

Up till now i had only heard this song and used to marvel at wonderful lyrics, backround music and of course lovely voice of mageshkar sisters, but now watching this i am beggining to wonder if the amazing dance steps of the song beats them all. thanks for posting!

These girls had their share of the fame as well... they were popularly known as Aplam Chaplam girls...i dont know if they worked in any other film...
MrDilipcoulagi on January 01, 2010
Yes, lovely girls doing a difficult dance. Also, observe their expressions so well suited to the lyric.wish we know who these girls were, and if they did any more films. CR's music enchanting as usual...

aplam chaplam . whatever it means ?
the lyrics is so hitiing ..for the pining of a lover.. BUT wait
I havent talked about the music. Its honey in melody and so very rocking - makes your feet tap and even works up dance movements in the body.
The two artistes are just mindbogglingly dancing away in such sync so very effortlessly.

Yeah this song is very popular among the Sri Lankans too. There is a Sinhala Version also in this song done by South Indian singers. So still we try to find the exact sinhala lyrics due to their different Sinhala pronunciations.
Voltairec on May 08, 2010
Apparently Chori, Chori (man bhavanke...) is inspired by this.simply marvellous!
