I have been looking for this song. I think this is the best dance by two similar looking artist. Many more dances like this have been tried in movies till this day but believe me no one has matched this. I have seen this when the movie was released but my memory was still fresh when I saw this today. Great artist these sisters I think they were twins.

Attended many Arangetrams in America, never seen a single dancer as these girls in caliber, composure, steps, unison, truly magical and ever fresh. What happened to all the talent in India, looks like money has sold talent for looks and good songs for skinny dance and sinful gestures.

They have another piece in the film Chori Chori( with Raj Kapoor and Nargis) and Sharada ( with Raj Kapoor and Nutan ). But nothing like the two sequences in Azaad. These two are timeless classics. I have watched these two dance sequences at least thirty times during last three years.

Just have a look at the expressions of the performers here.Perhaps that was the time when talents were rewarded handsomely.Now we have to live with "Shiela ki Jawani'.yuck.Pity there wasn't much media that time.They would have been household names.Who says we are advancing?We are regressing culturally.We have to take refuge in the videos at Youtube to avoid the present mindless onslaught masquerading as popular culture.
