My Allah! What a voice you have given to Rafi Sahab, Wah Laajawab, has left
all other singers of Hindi music far behind after singing this most
difficult song.

Mohammad Rafi is probably the only singer that gets absolutely no negative
comments on youtube., he is my favorite singer

Rafiji is undoubtedly great, however a listener can't fail to notice the
command of singing by Pt Krishnarao Chonkar. That voice reflects the
practiced and seasoned voice of a trained classical singer. Especially the
complicated Taans. Superb.

@allstringsattached ...Agree with you..although I am a
diehard fan of Late Mohammad Rafi Saheb

Rafi synching, maintaining pace with the classical singer Krishnarao is
amazing and classic by itself.
Milahi1935 on Tuesday, September 11, 2012
Krishna sang excellently and rafi matched him in the moorkian. In the end
rafi goes to the 4th octave so beautifully without any change in his voice
that one wonders at his abilities. Indeed rafi was gifted by the greatest
range that I have heard any where, even among the opera singers of the west.
moally55 on Friday, October 26, 2012
The most classical orientated was krishnarao,, rafi had a higher vocal
note. There is no such thing as Fourth octave, it is the voice pitch that
differs between people and the ability to control it. Rafi was blessed with
a vocal pitch that he could control :)

When you say there is "no such thing", you mean that human vocal chords
cannot reach it? I mean instruments (such as harmoniums) can, right? If
this is true, why do people say that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had 6 octaves to
his voice? Is that just nonsense?
Shushanto Bose on Sunday, November 18, 2012
Wow not only is this singing beyonf belief, but the composition is really
original.
Rajesh Venkateshulu on Friday, November 23, 2012
You are absolutely right. They can only scream and cannot sing anything
that high or for that matter in low notes. I honestly believe there are no
singers in this world who can match Indian singers especially classical
singers in quality (Singing taans, high, middle or low notes and putting
soul into the song-which is the most important thing).
Rajesh Venkateshulu on Friday, November 23, 2012
You are absolutely right. They can only scream and not sing (so do those so
called international pop, rock hip-hop stars do). There are no singers in
this world who can come close to Indians in singing, both classical and
playback singers.

Rafi sahab is my fav but here krishan rao is up to the mark because he was
only from claasical and rafi sahab is from bhaav sangeet and bhav sangeet
is a another level of classical because u can learn classical but never
aatmiyata...
Indrajeet Mukhopadhyay on Wednesday, May 29, 2013
I listen to this classical song with a rapt attention and enjoy every bit
of it. Krishana Rao is an orthodox classical singer,he shows his vibrating.
Rafi Sahab on the other hand is brilliant in classical portions too
especially towards the end he sings like an orthodox classical singer.
Shushanto Bose on Sunday, June 23, 2013
Why does the pronunciation sound like "chunari rang daRi", rather than
"daLi". Am i simply mishearing it, or is it intentional?
Sam Sharma on Saturday, November 02, 2013
Rafi sahab is giving of typical patiala gharana style murkis, I see similar
style in bade ghulam ali khan's murkiyas!
