the release of this movie.Then Naushad took over charge of the rest of
songs which were Kaun gaye le gayo shyam etc.But main HIT songs were
composed by Great Gulam Mohammad

One of the most memorable duets of Lata/Rafi. The pregnant pause between
the two singers is sui generis. I cannot stop listening to it over and over

This is indo Islamic culture, beautiful urdu poetry, sweet indian music. Bollywood is the outflow of mughal court. Urdu poetry, dance, and music came to its Zenith during that era, and we still are picking fruits of that. The days are gone. And that culture will not come again. Its all gone.
