I grew up in Russia and I saw this movie then, as a child, it was one of my
mother's favorite movies too which is why when they showed it in the "old
movies" theater, she took me. It's such a beautiful movie, very emotional.
So many years since I watched it, and I still remember it. Great song. The
actors are just fabulous.

Its got to be the best . Everything about this clip is outstanding. Look at
at the tantalising expressions of Nargis. the night shot, the song, Both
Lataji and Mukesh at their best. Beyond excellence. The end bit of the
clip...shadow in the water... amazing shot and this in 1951 .Sadly we have

Great song, I must have seen this clip 10 times since yesterday. Few
awkward jerky moves by actors @ 0:48 to 0:59 and again @ 2:07 to 2:12. Good
translation of the lyrics except "Unase pyar kar loongi" does not translate
well to "While I make love to her (or him)" entirely different connotation !
