remains that as far ar ghazals are concerned, his best were undoubtedly for
Talat - as this one proves ! By the way in the last stanza Talat sings "Ai

You are right. Talat Mahmood was Madan Mohan's favorite male singer. They met in Lucknow in 1946 and remained friends till the end. Regards.

karke dikhaya hai! There's another gem from 'Chhote Babu'. It's the
ethereal LataTalat duet, "Teri chamakthi aankhon ke aage ye sitarey kuch
bhi nahi." Shekar was quite a handsome hero of his day. I wonder what
