How close is the 'dhun' of this song to ''Saari saari raat teri yaad--'',the video clip of which you used for this song.It goes on to show that the two genius music directors can think and feel alike.
A New Year gift muffled in exquisite beauty--excellent composition by Madan Mohan--excellently sung by Lata Ji----and beautifully presented by Kalakarji!

Madan composed this in 1952. Later, in 1958 Roshan used this for "Saari Saari Raat Teri Yaad Sataye" and in 1965, Kalyanji Anandji used it to bring out "Padesiyon Se Na Ankhiyaan Milana". Regards.

YW. Not hearing it from anyone prior to Madan, I would say this "dhun" was his. Speaking of "Dhun" music for film "Dhun" 1953 was also composed by Madan Mohan. Famous song written by Kaif Irfani was by Lata "Badi Barbadiyaan Lekar Meri Duniya Mein Pyar Aaya". Regards.

Never heard it before,but did hear now.This is simply fascinating!It has typical mark of Madan on it.And I always admire Madan Mohan's distinct style of composing ghazals,which,in my opinion,has an edge over other great music directors of his time!The lyrics are poetic too!
