only a person who does not understand music will say that rafi's range was limitter.if on one hand he could sing classical song like madhuvan mein radhike nachae, he could sing at a very high pitch for beju bawara, oh duniya ke rakhwale, or a commedy song like hum kale hain .if genius like naushaad sahab,shankar jai kishan said he was ultimate,he had to be a genius.

The only thing that he was 21 years ahead of me. The other graduate from the same college was actress Kamini Kaushal. The college is 146 years old.
