In 2013, we can only wish that the era of 1970s come back since there was
so many greats like Mukesh, Rafi, Kishore Kumar in playback. In acting
there was Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh, Dharmendra and in Music you had SD
Burman, R D, K_Anandji. Though the 50s and 60s were also great we miss the
greats so much that they remain forever through their Glittering songs and
movies

as a gift from God for India's independence - 'listen to him and enjoy for
a few years'. the way he touches the song , specially at 'roothi
raatein. manaya kabhie...' - immortal! One of the very few singers who
could reach out deep into the heart of the listener and bring out the deep

phrase is the completeness of the song
