There's something to be said about this particular song in bhojpuri. Reminds me of a simple life in years gone by, when songs were rich with lyrics. Very refreshing indeed, even after several decades.

This is Avadhi. Gunga jamuna was first film made predominantly in Avadhi &
to my knowledge only film. It was released in 1961. First Bhojpuri film was
Ganaga Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo which was released in 1962.

baduan/bareilly district of uttarpardesh, when u com to neighbouring
district then language is change . mostly song at that time are from Baduan

Ghaziabd here khadi boole is spoken that is much similar to haranvi ,
mathura totally brijbhasha + some part of agra ,aligarh ,bulandsahar ,
firozabad u found touch of brijbhasha in their language .When u come to
farukhabad u found awadhi , touch of kanpuriya ,etah and etawah ...

I have much to told you but there is no similarity between meerut n
bareilly language I just like compare language polite language with a

moradabad its momdan touch kaa jaa rea hai,kya kha rea hai same in sambhal
and adjoining rampur -bareilly its quiet differ people says" kaa jaat ho
,kaa kha rae ho" and your biznor language is not same as bareilly their
rhythm is totally differ from bareilly .

This is Ganga, not Dilip Kumar or even Yusuf Khan. I completely agree with
the statement that no actor can be bigger than the character they are
playing. DK was so great that he would "file the bones of his feet down for
them to fit into the shoes of the character he would play". In this film,
he spent weeks with the people of that village to get the accent and
expression of the language right. In Daag, he did the same by spending
weeks observing the behaviour of drunken people. All because he respected
his audience and would give them the best. This is why he did not make too
many films per year unlike todays actors working on several films at a time
with the help of technology. He used to learn his scripts by heart,
rehearsed many many times before shooting. Great Actor.
