@03214232353 True that Latha is a great singer but have you listened to P Susheela of south india...listen to the same song in Tamil rendered by P Susheela - you will know who I am talking about. Search for "YAAR NEE --- NAANEY VARUVEN INGUM ANGUM". The song is a lift from hindi so you will hear Lata's voice for the beginning humming. The rest is by P Susheela. And FYI, Lata and Susheela are fans of each other!!!

If you are interested you can listen to the tamil version by P Susheela. Search for "Yaar nee" (which is a remake of woh kaun thi released 2 years later). If you listen to the song by itself without comparing you will enjoy both :-) FYI, I am great fan of Lata and an even greater fan of Susheela... I think it all depends on who you grew up listening to - for the most part.
