Comments on song "O Chaand Jahaan Vo Jaaye"

Beautifully sung by Lata didi.shades Asha a lil since it's still 50's.
Asha was harnessed by OP/SD to a consummate singer...came into her own in
60's. Audio seems outta sync.

Tears well up in my eyes every time I listen to this wonderfully genuine
expression of love! What brilliance of composition..by C Ramchandra;...what
simplicity in Rajendra Kishan's words.. and above all, what divinity in
the voices of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle..! An immortal song!
mastkalandr on June 07, 2011
@Rashmin56 I respect you feelings..., When you are speechless that means
your soul is effected ..that is divinity of voice and music .. A magic of
trio Asha-Lata-Rajendra Krishan and C.Ramchandra.. Thanks for sharing An
Immortal melody

Beautiful song, Brilliance of Anna (as C Ramchandra or Ram Chitalkar was
known to close ones) but unfortunately there is a mismatch between lip
movement and song's words.

Beautiful song, Brilliance of Anna (as C Ramchandra or Ram Chitalkar was
known to close ones) but unfortunately there is a mismatch between lip
movement and song's words. See how each stanza is composed differently and
equally melodious.

What a tune ! CR the two letters that spelt magic in the 50s. All his
compositions were hits. Asha and Lata rock. The way Anna sahaeb weaves the
song stanza after stanza wow.. Last but not the least the legendary beauty
adds to the grandeur of the song. Shyama is lovely too. Thanks mastkalandr

Beautiful brilliant & melodious composition of C Ramchandra sahib. Honey
sweet voices of Lata & Asha ji. The non synchronization of words & lip
movement in the frame. But enjoyed the sublime melody. Very very sweet
upload.
Sukesh Hoogan on August 11, 2012
The sound track and the lip movements are out of sync.

You may close you eyes and just listen like you were hearing a tape
recorder. This song has celestial beauty. The best Lata Asha duet.

If I'm not wrong, 'Sharda' had a very atypical theme. Especially for its
time. Raj Kapoor and Meena Kumari love each other. He goes abroad for his
higher studies and when he returns, he gets a shock of his life! For some
reason, Meena Kumari had got married to Raj Kapoor's father! And I think,
Raj Kapoor marries Shyama. I remember watching a Malayalam movie
'Nityakanyaka' based on this movie...
mastkalandr on February 14, 2013
Yes! you are absolutely right, the story was very strange with full of
dilemma.. thanks for sharing useful information.
