The Most Beautiful upload of this week. Thank Yuan for uploading the most
melodious songs of the Indian Music.

Love the song and love the scenes of Japan's Inland Sea, the Shinto
shrines, the Buddhist temples, and the gardens on the land( and of Hiroshima
in your clip of the Lata version of this song that you uploaded). I have
roamed often in these places. The Japanese gov't and people know how to
preserve the beauty of their land and cultural heritage. This is as true
today as when this movie was made. Thanks, Yuan.

Thank you my dear Professor for the important comment.
What I think is that [I may be wrong, of course!] in our part of the world, people have given priority for the DAY TODAY LIVING [than spending money on preserving places of historically value] due to economical reasons.
This usually happens in "democratic countries"!
V. Siddhartha on Saturday, October 24, 2009
Well,Yuan, Japan IS a democratic country, but it is certainly both affluent
and free from violent ethnic tensions more common to our region. On top of
that, it is a country where respect and consideration for others and for
shared spaces are deeply ingrained through education and become almost
normal parts of human behavior.
Mahagedara2 on Saturday, October 24, 2009
My dear Professor, you are absolutely correct and I fully agree with you.
I think my using "democratic countries" is "partially" wrong. What happened was, I wanted to avoid using "certain" words. Hope you understand!

This is such a marvellous effort by Rafi; it does the presence of Mukerjee
complete justice; I would have liked to see Shammi do this one, but I
suppose that he & Asha would have been typecast had that been the case. The
Tokyo scenery & Shinto shrine are exquisite & speaking of exquisite, Asha
never ceased to be alluring, but this is surely her resplendent best. Thank
you kindly my friend for a characteristically superlative effort:)
