Salil Chowdhry was mainly a Bengali music director, but those movies which
he directed in Hindi, are gems, known for their simplicity, but lillting
,immortal tunes. Pity, he was not properly recognized, nor awarded. I

Dear Mr. Chopra, I left India to USA in 1973 but I never lost my love of
Hindi film songs which I have been singing since 1955. I do not speak Hindi
very well but I love the melody. Salilda is one of my top music directors
and "Oh Sajina" is definitely one of the best.songs.
