Very melodious song, thanks a lot for sharing. Naseem Akhtar Ji was a great
and top 1940s playback singer from Punjabi background, and began her career
in 1942 with Ghulam Haider Ji's Khandan which starred Noor Jehan Ji as
heroine for the first time. Mukesh Ji is having one of his earliest
successes as a playback singer her. Anil Biswas Ji has done a splendid job.
One of the few films in which the great classical singer Roshan Ara Begum
Ji sang. She was really costly, I believe!

I believe her one sister married to Maboob Khan (Mother India), other
sister to A. R. Kardar (Director of 'dil diya dard liya). Music- the soul
tonic for sure...her voice is absolutely sweet. Mukesh dignified in his
style. Most sweet, indeed.

I was intoduced to Anil Biswas through his Lata-Talat's songs for Tarana.
This song is of a movie much before Tarana. It sounds melodious.
