Surprising! Waheeda looks most modern without much make up and artificiality, could have been one of those girls of these days. Only, she looks so breathtakingly beautiful with her razor sharp features and photogenic face - a photographer's dream indeed!

Surprising! Waheeda looks most modern with natural looking make up and get up. She could have passed of as one of the present day girls ( 1960 , mind you ). Only, she looks breathtaking with her razor sharp features and photogenic face - a photographer's dream indeed! A refreshingly different composition from Shanker - Jaikishan too!

This is not a Salil Chaowdhury style - but Inspired by the 1957 Italian
track Piccolissima Serenata composed by Gianni Ferrio & Antonio Amurri was
made popular by singers like Teddy Reno, Renato Carosone and Claudius
Villa. Shankar & Jaikishan has used many French, Ducth, German, Italian,
Arabic, Spanish, Portugese, Chinese, Latin American & African songs

I also want to say that Lataji & Ashaji were big fans of the Lebanese
singer Fairuz. Many of their songs composed by Jaikishan are inspired by
the songs of Fairuz

Sorry to dampen your enthusiasm but it is a straight lift from an English
song of the '50s. Not surprising since SJ as well as as Salil C. were great
lifters of Western compositions.
