Picturisation of this song is exellent. Aur kyon na ho, after all Hrishikesh Mukherjee was aproduct of Bimal Roy School. The film Anupama was released in 1966, the year Bimal Roy died.Casting mein H.Mukherjee ne ye film Bimal Da ko samarpit ki hai.

Anupama was released in 1966, and on 6th Jan,. 1966 Bimal Roy, who was Hrishikesh Mukherjee's mentor passed away. In the casting of the film it is mentioned ' Bimal Da ko saadar samarpit.' This film has shades of Bimal Da's brilliance. One thing many people may not know that this tune was used in a song by Hemant Kumar in Sahib Bibi aur Ghulam. But as the song was edited, the same tune was used in Anupama.
