sonu sang this song which was completely different from the playback singing style in those days and until today, he is always singing diff. musical genres like pop, sufi, classical, rock, romantic, sad, western fusion, bhangra, bengali, south indian, patriotic, etc. mad props to this guy for being the most versatile singer of today. the true legend will always be Mohd. Rafi, but Sonu is possibly the closest to reaching his status from today's singers.

sonu is not a clone! just cuz he used to sing rafi covers way back in the day and has a voice somewhat reminiscent of rafi saab doesn't make him a clone.. he has his own identity. and both rafi and kishoreda are legends in their own right..rafi just a little more though :)
