Both Mehmood and Minu Muntaz are children of Comedian Muntaz Ali , famous for his comedy song ( 1941 )" Delhi se dulhan laayore ai baabure " . Probably the first comedy song . ( Another comedy song by Ashok kumar in that 1941 Jhula is " Ek Chathur naar kar kar singaar " ( Padosan songs original ))-Arani Apparao-Hyderabad-A.P.

Minoo Mumtaz ( real name Malikaunnisa or Malika Mumtaz ) was fifth child of Mumtaz Ali's eight children. She had three older sisters and Mahmood was her older brother. She was an accomplished dancer and usually performed mujra dances in movies. Her mujra in film Sahib Bibi aur Ghulam ( Saquia aaj mujhe neend nahin aaye gi...) is one of the best ever performed in any movie. She married director S. Ali Akbar on 6-12-1963. Akbar had directed Mahmood's film Chhote Nawab earlier.

an unusual dance medley.but done very well. minu mumtaz was an excellent
dancer; here she does bharta natyam moves also with finesse. love these
dance sequences from old movies. even the extras are so good here.
