lata ji is the greatest playback singer but ghazal gayeki is some thing that is only be sung by queens of ghazals like Farida Khanum and Iqbal Bano and their inspiration Begum Mukhtar..

Yes, I love the ghazal gayaki of Farida Khannum, Begum Akhtar and Iqbal
Bano... But to listen to it in the sweet beauty of Lata's voice is a
different sort of experience, for me:)

yeah my bad... Let me rephrase. I meant, she sounds like a kid who is
singing without understanding the depth of meaning of the words. Of course,
that's just my opinion. But the kind of emotion that the likes of Begum
Akhtar sing with is lacking.
