beautifully sung. the negative comments on this video are a disappointment.
i found it bold, interesting, and a much needed infusion into the genre of
'aaj jaane ki zidd na karo'... afterall it is a song that I would call a
genre in itself, and a song that is extremely difficult to impress with.
...perhaps could have done with a more climactic finish tho.

People liked this song better than any other ones done at Coke Studio MTV
because.. there was not a lot of composition or music involved from
Leslie Lewis.. !!! Good effort from Ramya, Still think no one can top
Fareeda Khanum though.

I heard Asha Bhosle singing this song in the same manner Farida sang, she

if this entire episode is an intellectual exercise it fails to impress me
let alone even hold my attention. for the seminal attempt of this
particular Ghazal one must listen to Farda Khanumjis version... that is
just etherial.. as for raag yaman.. what shall I say... these two singers
will not even pass a rudimentary admissions test to enroll to learn
hidustani vocal clasical music I have no wish to either castigate or insult
the singers but they are singularly talentless... sorry!
